I checked the 'Messages" and this is what I read:

9/25/2009 1:15:01 AM|rosetta@home|Message from server: (reached daily quota of 6 results)

So, in 1 hour and 15 minutes, my machine did all the tasks for the day. Since 1 hour and 15, or 75 minutes was all it took to do 6 results, what happens the rest of the day. Since there are 1440 minutes in a day, why does my machine not do 115.2 results per day instead of only 6??? I thought that Rosetta@home needed machines to help with the work. Why it Rosetta@home stopping my machine processing after 75 minutes with 6 results. It should be processing for 1440 minutes and returning 115.2 results per day. Rosetta@home is only using 5.2% of the time it should be using. Does not make sense to me. World Community Grid is also using my machine 24/7, but data is being processed 24/7 which makes sense to me. This machine is a P-4, 3.0g with 2g RAM and over 1000 gigs of HD space. The other machine doing this is similiar: 3.4g P4, 4g RAM and over 1000gigs HD space.
I am offering the machines.... use them!

The maximum daily quota for each cpu is 100 per day. The quota is reduced with each failure until it reaches one. This is to keep unattended machines from endlessly trashing hundreds of workunits. The quota is doubled with each successfully completed task so once you fix whatever is causing the problem your quota will quickly rise to 100 again.

As to the problem, take a look at your tasks list and notice it lists client error under the outcome column and downloading under the client state column for every task. Now go to the far left column(task id) and click on a task number for the details. The .exe file is most likely being blocked by either your firewall or antivirus program. Solve that and soon you'll be crunching for rosetta all day.
