More info: While shutting down the OS to take the box to work, it errored with message that it couldn't remove the rosetta task from memory, etc. I suspect that my fabulous OS (XP SP2) may have clobbered the process last night with a memory fault. (I have 1G RAM, 3G Paging file, and it still thinks it's low on virtual memory!) Is there a way to reset this work unit to zero and let it re-run? I can abort and remove it, but I'd like to re-try what should have been a 20 min. run that took 11+ hours to do 1%. dag david_geiser@agilent.com dag --Finding aliens is cool, but understanding the structure of proteins is useful. |

Not worth going to any effort to retry it. It might just do the same thing again. I'd abort that work unit and move on. Go to the Work tab in the BOINC manager, left click the problem work unit, then click the ABORT task button on the left. Add this signature to your EMail: Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |
