My computer at work was replaced, new CPU & IP Address. 'Your Computers' shows 2 computers now. The new one, and the old one. How do I delete the old one ? Thanks, KTK |

You will "delete" it by merging it with your new host. But the function to merge hosts is temporarily disabled. The BOINC software that projects like Rosetta uses had a bug where the host merge function was impacting other website functions, and so they disabled it until a fix can be installed that corrects the problem. For more info, see the March 22nd update in the Technical News Having the extra one out there doesn't hurt anything, so don't worry about that. And once the merge function is available again, you can consolidate your two hosts (and all of your past credits) into one. Add this signature to your EMail: Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |
