Can you run two different projects at the same time? I've been processing SETI@HOME for a few years and just added the Rosetta@home project but they both can't be running at the same time. One is always pre-empted. Can you run both at the same time?

If you have a dual processor or a dual core processor you can run one project on each processor. If you only have a single CPU system, you can only run one project at a time. It is possible to run one project in windows and one in command line mode, but it is not easy to set up.

I see that you have a Quad processor, so all you need to do is set your preferences to use more than one of the processors at a time, Update the project from the BOINC manager, and then set your BOINC client to "Run using preferences".

You can then either wait for the other project to update to the new preferences in the natural course of work or update it manually.
