Whenever I try to upgrade or even uninstall BOINC I get it asking for BOINC.msi located in my downloaded proghram files folder. I have the newest one but not the orginal msi that I first used to install the BOINC software and it keeps asking for msi file that I apparently no longer have. I try directing it to the newest one but it won't recognize/accept that one.
So...
#1 How do I upgrade now?
#2 Failing that, how do I uninstall BOINC to be able to reinstall it?
TY in advance for your time, sincerely, durk

G'day durkus

Find out what version of boinc you now have installed, download it again if you don't have it still, and rerun the (old) installation. This should bring up the option to either remove or repair the installation, remove the installation and then you should be able to install the next version.

With some references if you are unfamiliar with what to do.

Find out what version of boinc you now have installed, download it (that same version) again if you don't have it still, and rerun the (old) installation. This should bring up the option to either remove or repair the installation, remove the installation and then you should be able to install the next version.

If that's still unclear, just ask.
