Rosetta_5.22_windows_intelx86.exe has encountered a problem?

I notice that after 3 bad work units (two of which are "Exit status -1 0xffffffff" ) you returned a good work unit, can you tell me what you changed or did, as there are no details on how to fix it, I tried Google, BOINCWiki and I even looked through the BOINC source code to no avail. It may be that the work unit or applicatin is the cause, I know that it has happened on a number or BOINC projects, I also know that I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on any project.
