In case a new user stumbles on this, you should note that the BOINC manager controls which projects run and when. So, the accusation launched here by "wildman" is simply not possible. Although this is often the symptom (short of the subject line) one might describe if BOINC feels their computer has more work then it will be able to complete on time (i.e. before deadlines), and so it goes to "earliest deadline first" mode, rather than rotating "round robin" between the various projects you are running. It keeps track of this extra time devoted to the project that had the earlier deadlines, and pays back the other projects later. Also, a new user should note that if they would like assistance running BOINC and Rosetta, it is helpful not to throw insults and hateful remarks to the audience that is willing and able to assist you. Add this signature to your EMail: Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might! https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |
