I have a computer with two Windows instances on it. Currently, I have Rosetta@Home running on one of them. I would like to get it running on the other one too - but, I'd rather that both instances worked on the same files. It's Windows, so there would never be a case in which both are concurrent. Is this possible? Thanks! |

Hi, if those Windows run separately (in time), that is easy. BOINC does not care if you move your BOINC folder as long as you adjust your links to the executables. So you can simply install BOINC on the second OS and then just switch the link in the Autostart folder to point to the installation folder you used on the other OS. At startup Windows will just open the BOINC Manager (or whatever way you installed it) and go on crunching where the other OS instance stopped and saved. Regards, Christoph |

Just run Boincmgr.exe from windows or to make it run automatically create a shortcut yo it in the start menu. No need to install again or anything. Team mauisun.org |
