Rosetta used to work fine for me, but in the past two weeks tasks are downloaded and begun normally, but the task is not actually worked on. I have read other post that sugges tthat this is a display anomally, but since the CPU utilization is 0% for Rosetta, I think this is another problem entirely. I am using a MacBook Pro 2.33 (with plenty of Ram and HD space available) running Mac OS X 10.4.9 and BOINC Manager 5.8.15. Note that other projects run fine. I have even tried suspending all projects other than Rosetta, but it made no difference. I have also manually aborted a couple of tasks in case they were corrupted - still no change as problem continues with next task downloaded. Thanks. |

There are improvements underway on Ralph that should resolve many of the problems some Mac users are encountering. A new Rosetta release should be available next week. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
