I got computational error on every 5.80 client.
This doesn't seems to be a problem with my other platform Q6600 and Intel 3.0HT
Does any one else experienced this ?

I looked into the results of your AMD X2 4400+, and saw an error 161 on sen15_RESAMPLE_BOINC_MFR_ABRELAX_PICKED etc. Had the same problem on my AMD Sempron 3000+.

and had common reactions
It might be not your PC having problems, but the Beta 5.80.

ahhh.. it's good to hear that I'm not the only one having problem with 5.8 beta.
It's been crunching and too bad we get no credit for comptuer error wu.

I´m using a Sempron 3000+ with Ubuntu Linux 7.04, and have no problems with 5.80 client after "upgrading" from XP to Linux 64 bit. Even your Athlon can run 64 bit Linux, it might be a little be faster :-)

my 5.90 beta on a athlon64 5000+ gives a 'computational error' on every result. after that, i get a windows error message saying that rosetta caused an error and needs to be shut down. i've detached the project until i can find a solution. seti and cpdn seem to run fine.

any ideas?

nah, running XP on this box. but thank you for the reply! i have noticed some others having problems with the amd64 chips too.
