For several days Boinc/Rosetta has been unable to find an intenet connection although connectivity is good. The error says to make a connection or to set a default. The default dialog box offers only "Set default" and "Clear default" neither of which produces any result. This machine has connected with Rossetta flawlessly for months and nothing has changed that I can find. This problem has been in effect while all computers on my home network have been idle for a long time, and while this one or othes are in use. In looking at the message record I find the following is repeating faithfull 1,40 time per day.

It seems sometimes BOINC gets confused when Windows reestablishes it's internet connection. Have to suggest you reboot the PC. Later versions of BOINC seem to have such problems much less frequently. What BOINC version are you running?

I get this message:
BOINC can't access internet, check network connection or proxy configuration.

It downloads project data and processes it, but gives me this error.

It then proceeds to download new data and process it.

Any idea what is going on?

addenda:

It would be nice to be able to copy stuff from the message file to the clipboard to facilitate problem solving.
