My machine is:

GenuineIntel
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1500MHz Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition, Service Pack 2, (05.01.2600.00)

I am running Rosetta 4.79.

It would appear to get new work units then after three hours terminate with cleint computing error. I am also running SETI, ClimatePrediction, Einstein and Predictor fine.

Am not a computer person so plain English would help.

You are running an older BOINC client version. The errors should go away if you upgrade to the latest BOINC client. The current version is 5.2.7 for windows.

I too am on 5.2.7 and despite running and completing 26 wu only one was sucessful, the other 25 are recorded as unrecoverable errors.

I'm getting the same 0xc0000005 error. But I'm running on a Toshiba laptop and the problem only occurs after I suspended Windows by closing the lid and resuming it again. It does not happen every time and not necessarily immediately on resume (but often yes) and only with Rosetta. I'm running Boinc 5.2.8

PLEASE READ THE 'PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING' MESSAGE!

Also setting Leave applications in memory while preempted?
(suspended applications will consume swap space if 'yes') to "YES" will solve 90% of these problems.
