I'm planning to move my work to another computer. Is there anything besides copying C:Program FilesBOINCprojects folder to a new machine in order for me to make the transistion?

I believe it would be best to use the add/remove programs function from the Windows control panel... remove BOINC (which leaves your projects), copy the subdirectory structure that remains to the new machine, then reinstall BOINC from a zip file or Berkeley download.

If you plan to run BOINC on both machines, then it would be best to just install BOINC, and attach to the projects.

Regardless of whether you continue running on the old machine, your new machine may be assigned a new host ID. Then you can merge the old host ID into it later.
