I did finish some Rosetta Wus today, but they aren't even displayed to be pending - is dat normal ? I also have a performance - Question : does it matter to rosettas performance if i change the process- Priority of the roetta-exes to high instead of leaving em at very low ? |

Which host are you asking about? It looks like host 836312 is getting a number of "compute errors". Some could be due to the permissions set up for your BOINC environment. As for priority... if your machine is idle, it will make no difference. It will run at the same speed as it would at a lower priority. If your machine is not idle, the other work probably has a more immediate need to be done, and often will finish very quickly... so recommend you leave BOINC running at low priority. I did have some truoble with my windows- installation, so the compute errors are caused by this - but my windows ist running proper now again - just a matter of time ;) I already posted the errors I had, e.g. one core had not got any work to do (minirosetta suddenly disappeared) But I did fix this one too by reinstalling the client. Now I did finish about 4 WUs wich I didnt get credit for - rosetta did run properly all time . |

If you have a further question about specific WUs, please provide reference to them so I can review. I'm not clear which host, nor which tasks you are referring to. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

I see that my system finishes 1 wu to 100 percent and I did finish 2 that day - in the stats only appeared 1 result - but I do not have the ID the workunit had had |

If you are looking at one of the statistics websites, they only gather information roughly daily. So, perhaps credit for one task went into one day and credit for the other went in to the next day. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
