Thanks, after hitting update a couple of times, the master file downloaded and all it well, I think.

Indeed, Rosetta eventually retrieved the master file, and now it works properly

Message 69279 - Posted: 13 Jan 2011, 2:29:14 UTC

When I look at the messages from the server I get "project file upload handler is missing". This has been happening for about two weeks. I am dead in the water. Please help me understand what I can do to get this stuff uploaded and more tasks downloaded.
Thanks,
John Stuckey

This has been a server issue for much of time - nothing any of us could do.

Hopefully solved now, so go to the Transfers tab in Boinc Manager and "Retry" to upload, then hit Update on the Projects tab. New tasks may struggle to come down initially so just a little more patience required now there's light at the end of the tunnel.

At this point things have been running smoothly for more then a day, the BOINC Manager should be able to do the uploads and scheduler updates and get more work. If you are still seeing the error, I can only suggest that perhaps a bridge or router or proxy somewhere in your network has cached this, and perhaps rebooting your machine will force that device to refresh.
