What causes errors like this?

[error] expected xxx, got xxx
[error] checksum or signature error for work unit ###

It indicates that a file you are downloading from the project did not arrive with the contents that it should have.

Two ideas would be antivirus software, sometimes it "disables" things it believe are viruses, which is a modification of the file. The other would be network problems, where the data was actually corrupted during the download. If the problem seems to occur consistently, I'd suspect the former, and if it is very uncommon, I'd suspect the ladder.
