Running BOINC 6.10.58 on Win 7 Pro 64bit. I have an issue downloading WU's that started yesterday - BOINC network traffic runs, chewing up my bandwith nicely, but the transfers in progress show zero speed and zero progress even after 7-8MB has come down the wire. Logfile shows the error: 28-Nov-2010 07:35:52 [---] [error] Deleting file input_mem_widd_run02_Menv_B_round02_0221_yfsong.zip while in use Any ideas? Thanks, Marc |

BOINC's network traffic, other then downloading files (which you say isn't working) and occasional scheduler requests to projects, is internal within your machine. Not chewing up any internet bandwidth. It is how the BOINC Manager maintains status of the running BOINC core client. What changed yesterday? Holiday weekend... relatives over? Network access restricted differently? Antivirus software ratcheted up a notch? BOINC will restart interrupted file transfers. What is showing on the file transfers tab? And the messages tab? Good call - Kaspersky antivirus was being overzealous. Looks like the download in progress was being interrupted by the scanner. Thanks! |
