Hello, I am having this Minirosetta window pop-up as well. The only problem is that I cannot use my computer at all because of it. It has been locking up my computer completely. Right now I am sitting at the library typing this message to you, because I cannot use my computer. When I left home there were 75 different Minirosetta windows in total.... Is there any type of solution???? Or should I un-install the program? Thank you.... |

I run only Rosetta on boinc so my solution is to shut down boinc and subscribe to this thread in hopes that someone announces a solution that I can implement and then I can turn it back on. Rosetta doesn't seem to be doing anything anyway besides being annoying. I'm not easily distracted. I'm just really good at.. LOOK!! A Chicken!! |

With so many reports I'm just adding to the voice now. I almost can't use any other application since the Minirosetta 3.43 windows refresh often and appear on top of all other windows. I'm on Windows 7 x64 and this just started yesterday. |

So it's working now? The project admin is talking about the issues here https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=6120#74386 |

Read the R@H advisory here - http://goo.gl/qaSuX There's a bug under version 3.43 and units under version 3.45 are the fix. Just cancel all v3.43 units in queue so that BOINC will download new v3.45 units. Note that the R@H servers are being slammed, so downloads will take a while. |

Read the R@H advisory here - http://goo.gl/qaSuX That worked. Canceled the 3.43 WUs and the 3.45s started with no problems. Thanks! |

Me too ... will delete the 3.43 work units... but does anyone know why rosetta always runs with high priority? I don't see any way to change that ... |

The BOINC Manager determines which work units to run. When it starts feeling behind in the work, it runs tasks on "high priority" (don't worry, they are still running at the lowest CPU priority, where your machine will be working on anything else first, and only giving idle time to the BOINC tasks.). It basically is an indication that the BOINC Manager currently believes that if it gave only normal resource share to those tasks, they would not complete before their deadline. Simply allowing it to run it's course and let BOINC take care of it is the best resolution. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Ditto. As far as I know, haven't updated BOINC/P2P client or video drivers. Being a "gamer" I usually note when I get new drivers, because they do odd things sometimes. Link to screenshot via PhotoBucket: http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc101/t3eak/Sigs%20and%20Projects/BOINC-MiniRosettaIssue.jpg Started a week or so ago; I'm AFK for days at a time with work, can't narrow it down more than that. Thanks! |

Patrick, all of the windows in your screenshot show Rosetta version 3.43. Please cancel v3.43 tasks as suggested on the project homepage. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
