About three weeks ago I rejoined Rosetta after several years away. My statistics have not increased at all after the first few days. (Total remains unchanged, average shows zero since April 15.)
I have checked tasks several times and usually see that they are running or occasionally preparing to run. I wasn't smart enough to note the task numbers to see if they have changed.
I'm running BOINC on a machine I seldom use for any other purpose. I have the preferences set pretty high -- 90% of CPU, 100 GB/50% of Disk space, write to disk every 60 seconds, 50% page file, 40/90% of memory when computer is in use/not in use.
My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 SP 1, running on an Intel Pentium (R0 D CPU 3.4 GHz, 4GB RAM and 43 GB free on a 250 GB primary hard drive.
There have been 4-5 power failures during these weeks, requiring me to manually restart when I noticed the computer was off. In between it has run continually for days on end.

Any suggestions as to what’s going on? I will be delighted to get a response that makes me slap my forehead and say “What a moron! How did I not think of that?”

It doesn't look like your tasks are running at all. In advanced view, can you look at ToolsComputing Preferences and in the "Processor Usage" tab see what "Only after computer has been idle for..." and "While processor usage is less than" fields say. Both should be 0.

Also, "On multiprocessor systems, use at most..." and the field below, "Use at most". They should both show 100.
