Not really a Rosetta problem, but something which is affecting my enjoyment of running Rosetta: how do I change the Windows Title Bar to "BOINC Manager - MyComputerName"???

I gather I should put something in the WINDOWSsystem32driversetchosts file, but what?

TT

PS How do I reset BOINC Manager so that it doesn't start automatically on start-up, but I can start it manually when everything else is running nicely?

Do not know how to do the first one but the second item you can uninstall and reinstall and uncheck the start at boot or I think you can just look at windows start up list and delete Boinc......

Not sure about the first either but if you click on "Start" then got to "Run..." and type "msconfig" and press enter. Next goto the "Startup" tab(on the right) and uncheck "Boinc Manager". It wont load at startup. If you are running XP on you next boot just check the box in the pop-up window telling you a change was made.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys - the second bit (the "PS") I now have under control.

But my first question...I was almost too ashamed to ask that because I thought the solution was so easy! I'm running a couple of machines via TightVNC and sometimes it would be very useful indeed to have the machine names in the title bars. I'm surprised nobody else has asked!

Have you looked into Boincview? I use it to control several computers on a network. It's a lot like Boinc manager, but displays info and allows controls for each computer.
