Hi. I know that we should be happy to even HAVE a screen saver, but is there a chance you could make the immobile portions move around a bit? I know that screen burn-in is largely a thing of the past, but almost every other project that has graphics has implemented a graphic that moved completely :) Thanks. |

Oh, my, and here I was loving it because it did not wiggle so much! :) Heck took me a week or two to get the SETI@Home screen saver so it would look almost like the classic one ... and did not wiggle ... Well, maybe a wiggle/no wiggle option I suppose ... |

If as a consolation, perhaps the movements could be much more subtle. Moving by only a few pixels every 10 minutes is all that would be required to lightly protect a screen. I agree that the gyrating screen saver of SETI@Home is a little "disco-ball" like for me, but something here absolutely has to be done. |

[quote]Moving by only a few pixels every 10 minutes is all that would be required to lightly protect a screen.quote] Well as screen burn no longer really exsists anymore why would the screensaver need to move lightly to protect the screen?? Join us in Chat (see the forum) Click the Sig Join UBT |

humm for people who are worried about screen burnin or such.. most new monitors dont have problems like that a consideration may be that ever 5 or 10 or so min the screen could shift a bit.. that would prevent the worry of screen burnin and would also keep the system from gyrating so much that its anoying.??? or mabey a customisable shift screen every 1-100 min with a dont move screen box? just some ideas |

[quote]Moving by only a few pixels every 10 minutes is all that would be required to lightly protect a screen.quote] because screen burn DOES still exist. |
