Hi All, I run several Boinc projects but three times in 2 days now I have gotten to my comp and see the box which says approx " Rosetta has caused a problem and will be terminated" and the message boinc gives is "1/11/2006 8:46:14 AM|rosetta@home|Unrecoverable error for result NEW_SOFT_CENTROID_PACKING_1ogw_225_9368_0 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))

What is going on? I love rosetta and what you stand for but if this is interfereing with other projects I will be forced to shut down rosetta until the problems disappear.

I am running win xp pro sp2 on a sempron 3000 with 1 gig ram and more than 736 gigs of HD space. these errors just started a couple days ago

I have this problem on my windows pc's but not my linux pc's.

Reading other posts on this problems it seems that a temporary workaround is to change your settings so that workunits stay in memory when suspended.

This is a general preference change that will affect all projects.

Hi th4ere and thanks. I did just change the option to remove all from memory since I use 6 boinc projects and it was slowing my computer down WAY too much having all these progranms in memory....

I will see if I continue to get these errors.... maybe I will let it run longer before switching..... I will try a couple things to see what I can do.
